Per the IS 2022 guide: "Irish Sailing recommends 75/25 for club racing and
50/50 for regattas and major events." The 50/50 split is the more aggressive
preset — handicaps move twice as far per race compared with the club default.
Same 3-boat fleet as fixture 04 race 1. Compare adjustments: at α=0.25 Boat 1
moved by +0.010051; at α=0.50 it moves by +0.020101 (twice the displacement).
