Scratch — equal finish positions (tied on water)

RRS A8.1: When boats are tied on the water they share the points for the places they occupy. Each is given the average of those points; subsequent finishers score the next available place. Example: two boats tied at position 2 each score (2+3)/2 = 2.5; the next finisher scores 4.

Scoring configuration: No discards. DNF/OCS scoring: A5.2 (series entries).

Race 1: Alice=1, Bob=2.5, Carol=2.5, David=4
Race 2: David=1, Alice=2, Bob=3, Carol=4
Totals: Alice=3, David=5, Bob=5.5, Carol=6.5
