Two abandoned days at The Hague meant qualifying was closed at the 4-race
minimum ("Gold & Silver fleets decided after only 4 races"), rather than the
scheduled six, before the split was made. Engine-wise this is just "fewer
qualifying races than planned, then split" — the split proceeds on whatever
the qualifying ranking is at the day boundary. The fixture's value is
documentary: the split is legitimate at the minimum, and the "scheduled 6"
never appears in the data.
Modelled as 2 fleets of 3, exactly 2 qualifying races completed (standing in
for the shortened qualifying), then a normal split + one final race per
fleet. `expected` verified against the engine.
