F6 carried-position carry: the qualifying finishing position becomes one non-excludable score and the qualifying race scores drop out

The distinguishing wording: "The position of each boat in the Qualifying
Series shall be carried forward to the Final Series as non excludable
points."

So the qualifying series decides two things — which final fleet a boat is
in, and one score she carries — and then her individual qualifying race
scores play no further part. The carried position can never be discarded,
and being a position rather than a race it does not advance the "when N
races have been completed" discard ladder either.

Hand-verification (fleets of 3, so races score 1/2/3; two qualifying races,
below the three-race discard threshold, so nothing is dropped):

Qualifying totals:

y1 and y2 tie on 3 with equal score lists, so A8.2 takes Q2 (y2 1, y1 2) →
y2 ahead; b2 and b3 tie on 5 and A8.2 (Q2: b3 2, b2 3) puts b3 ahead.
Qualifying positions: 1 b1, 2 y2, 3 y1, 4 b3, 5 b2, 6 y3.
Split into equal blocks: Gold b1/y2/y1, Silver b3/b2/y3.

Each boat carries that position into the final series (shown as the QS
column), then sails two final races. Nothing is discarded: two races plus a
carried position is two *races*, short of the three-race threshold.

Gold: y1 and y2 tie on 7; A8.1 compares score lists [1,3,3] against
[2,2,3] — y1's best score wins it. Silver: all three on 9, and A8.1 orders
them y3 [1,2,6], b2 [1,3,5], b3 [2,3,4].

Note the totals: they carry no qualifying race scores at all, which is
exactly what distinguishes this format from continuous carry.
