A repêchage sailed in two fleets, each ranked on its own, one boat promoted from each

Melges 15 (supplied boats) 2026 — Irish Sailing Dinghy Champions' Cup, Royal St George YC (NoR 9.2) · F9 · E4 · SI (reference-docs:events/irish-champions-cup-dinghy-2026/NoR.md)

2 qualifying fleets · no split · discards: No discards. · medal race ×1
"The repêchage will consist of two flights, with 4 boats in each flight,
each completing 2 races" (NoR 9.2). One repêchage with two fleets, not two
repêchages: the fleets are separate selection pools, so each is ranked on
its own and there is no ranking across them. The NoR does not say whether
the two places go one per repêchage flight or to the top two overall; here
the scorer promotes the winner of each.

Same qualifying racing as fixture 31. Rep A: b3 1+1, a2 2+2. Rep B: a3 1
then 2, b2 2 then 1 — 3 each, split on the last race, which b2 won. b3 and
b2 are promoted. The Final Series is one race, which is a series (SI 17.1),
and decides everything: b3, a1, b1, b2.

Below the Final Series fleet the qualifying ranking stands: a2 and a3 tie
on 5 and A8.2 puts a3 ahead on Q2; a4 and b4 cannot be separated.
