ORC — a time-on-distance race with no recorded course length scores nobody

ORC Rating Systems 403.2 corrects over the course length, so a race with none cannot be scored under the fleet's option. It is not quietly scored by some other method: ranking it on crossing order would put a scratch race in front of competitors under an ORC fleet's name. Nor is it scored against the boats in it — a DNC apiece would read as if none of them had come to the start, when what has actually happened is that the scorer has not finished entering the race. It is left out of the standings entirely, the way a race nobody finished is, until the course is entered; the standings page names the race and what it is waiting for.

Race 2 has a gun and two finishers but no recorded course length, so
there is nothing to correct over. Neither boat is scored, and the race
counts for neither: it contributes no points, is out of the discard
count, and the standings are the standings after race 1 alone. Enter
the course and race 2 scores in place.
