Split-fleet series (qualifying / final)

Championship scoring where a large entry races in qualifying fleets, then splits into Gold/Silver/Bronze for a final series on one continuous points line — the RRS Appendix LE Addendum C format. Each example is drawn from a real ILCA/Optimist/… championship (see its provenance line) and shows the combined, fleet-tinted standings a scorer would publish; medal-race points are doubled and shown in bold. 3	F2 medal race: doubled non-discardable medal points; companion 'last race' scored from below the medal fleet
4	D1 no split: too few races to divide the fleet — the qualifying ranking is the official result
5	D3 finale scheduled but never sailed: the companion 'last race' does not run, and the opening series stands
6	D5 unequal final counts: Gold sails more final races than Silver — both score correctly
7	D6 qualifying closed early: abandoned days force the split at the minimum race count
8	D8 equalisation: a qualifying race one fleet never sailed does not count for anyone
9	D10 redress across the split: RRS A9(a) average points (fractional) and promotion into a higher fleet
10	Reassignment: seed by ranking, then reshuffle the fleets by standings after each day
11	Penalties on finishers (SCP/DPI) and a medal-race code scored at the base, not doubled
12	Frozen rounds: a protest decided after the next round is drawn re-scores the standings but never re-deals the fleets
13	F5 net+net carry: the qualifying and final series are scored separately and added, so each discards its own worst race
14	F6 carried-position carry: the qualifying finishing position becomes one non-excludable score and the qualifying race scores drop out
